RECRUITMENT PROCESS

HopeLine, a nonprofit based in Raleigh, NC, seeks board members!

Founded in 1970 by community members, our main programs include an inbound suicide prevention and crisis hotline and an outbound reassurance call service.

HopeLine’s mission is to support people and save lives during times of crisis through caring, confidential conversations. Our organizational goals for next year are to increase our service footprint, fundraising efforts, and visibility in the local and national community.

We are primarily staffed by a small core team of program employees and a trained team of crisis volunteers, who provide hundreds of hours on our crisis and reassurance call lines every month. We need more experienced board members who care about our mission and can commit to volunteering 5-10 hours monthly to achieve our goals.

If you have a background in any of the below areas or have prior experience on a nonprofit board, we'd like to talk to you!
