50 years of Hopeline
To celebrate our 50 years of service, we are planning a special funding outreach campaign. We want to do our part to comply with NC social distancing mandates as well as with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.
Unfortunately, this means that we have made the decision to cancel our annual gala and in its place, have a virtual & online fundraising campaign as a way to celebrate our 50 years of service with all of you!
$50,000
FOR THE NEXT 5 MONTHS, HOPELINE WILL HAVE 5 DIFFERENT WAYS YOU CAN HELP US REACH
OUR GOAL OF $50,000
Now, more than ever, our crisis services are needed. HopeLine volunteers and staff are trained to discuss any form of crisis, which means any issue in someone's life that would lead them to pick up the phone and call or text us. No challenge is too big or too small. We are trained listeners who can provide a safe, judgment-free space to process the growing daily challenges we are all facing. HopeLine is on the front lines supporting issues like the COVID-19 pandemic, suicide, domestic violence, child abuse, rape, and sexual assault, racial injustice, loneliness, diagnosed mental illness, grief, bullying, and more.
You talk. We listen. It’s the way it’s always been here at HopeLine, and that’s the way that it will continue to be. Our voice is not the most important one, nor will it ever be. However, our world is in a state of crisis right now, and that’s the kind of conversation we’ve always been equipped to have.
With your financial support, HopeLine can continue our life-saving, free, and confidential services for all.
